Bear Witness is a high school publication covering Branham High School in San Jose, Calif.
It is a nationally award-winning newspaper run entirely by student staff writers and editors, committed to providing accurate, timely coverage of local and world news while connecting these events to the lives of Branham’s diverse student body.
The publication covers topics related to the Branham community, including sports and school events. Students learn and develop skills related to interviewing, writing, photography and graphic design.
Bear Witness currently publishes its work via social media platforms, its website and in free newspapers hand-delivered to classrooms every six weeks.
